Two for the Price of One

15:23

This, by the way, has been our consistent weather for weeks.

I have an apology to make, today whilst examining the list of my blog posts it was brought to my attention that my post-Christmas entry was never published, only saved as a draft. So today, you lucky lot, get a double read as I'll post that one and today's post. Horrah.

Christmas Festivities
I hope everyone had a wonderful time this Christmas! Everything Christmas gets me so excited and now that it's over I'm wishing we could rewind time a little to enjoy the day all over again, especially for my parents who were both ill which is 100% unfair. They had a good time nonetheless. I woke up from a nightmare at 6:30 which was annoying a) because no one should have nightmares on Christmas Eve and b) because I immediately wanted to open everything, which I could not. I held out until 7 o'clock before going downstairs where my little brother and sister were already waiting, along with the presents. Mum and Dad had already clarified the night before that we couldn't wake them until at least 8 o'clock, nevertheless at ten to, we made our way upstairs.
From here on our traditional Christmas day pans out as follows...
We open a couple of presents on our parent's bed before going downstairs and opening all our stocking gifts, basically most of our presents. Then we spend our morning messing about with shiny new toys until Christmas dinner, best meal of the year, in the early afternoon. Once that whole Christmas cracker fiasco is over we give each other our family gifts which is cute and then continue messing about and whatever. In the evening we open our final few pressies and watch a film, chill out and whatever. I already miss my favourite time of year greatly.

2013
I'm still coming to terms with the concept of this year being the one they call 2013. Can it really be here already? I really have to get myself up together if I want the outcomes of this year to be positive. By that I mean I really have to revise if I want to pass all these exams... However, there is plenty to be looking forward this year too, the first being my 16th birthday, which has long been anticipated, Prom; an event I'm greatly excited about, SUMMER that cannot come fast enough, my friends and I have so many plans for visits to the Isle of White and London and blah blah blah, and then it's off to college with me. Some people are quite apprehensive about starting college but I just cannot wait, I think I've been stuck in secondary school for long enough thank you very much. So now it's time for us to all sort ourselves out and get working on making this year brilliant.
