Somehow I have stumbled my way through two years of college (the final years of high school if you're reading from America) and now find myself with one month left in the UK before I leave for the States. When did that all happen? Did I blink and miss it? I've been trying super hard recently to concentrate on not letting time get away from me, and living in the moment, but I just can't seem to crack it!
That being said, crazy things are happening right now and the moment has never been more worth living in. The hard decisions that I talked about last year have all come together and the first real adventure of my life as an adult is just a few breaths away. I'm doing my best to savour the last of my final Summer at home with my closest friends and family, because these are the moments that I'll cling to when I feel completely homesick next month. It will happen.
So as I start this crazy journey, I want my blog to become the place that I turn to to record the things that happen along the way. I love to keep a journal but I'm as terrible at it as I am at keeping this blog, so I figured if I have people expecting updates from me, I'll be more likely to stick to it, right? I guess it's more for myself than anything, not that the narcissist within me doesn't love the idea of you all reading about my life, so that I have something to look back on and help me savour the moment. See how we've come full circle?
So I hope you enjoy coming to America with me, if you don't hear from me for six months don't be alarmed, I'm just procrastinating somewhere!
