The sun is still shining and I have Mumford and Sons keeping me motivated. It's time for a blog post I intended to create months ago. The Ben and Jerry's Milkshake post. Oh yeah it's as good as it sounds.

Basically I saw a good idea for a milkshake type thing on a fellow blog and thought we could do something similar so some of my girls and I gathered at the lovely Emma's house and we went on a little shopping spree to get some ingredients and got cracking on these delicious concoctions. The following, is how we went about it:

Three flavours of Ben and Jerry's went into a mixing bowl, we used Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Cookie Dough and Phish Food I think. (A couple of scoops of each.)








Then came the milk, you can add as much as you'd like but we didn't use too much because we wanted the shakes to be quite thick and icecream is creamy anyway.





Before whisking it together (Emma's a baking fanatic so she had a fancy electric whisk, my kitchen is not so well equipped) we put cling film over the bowl to stop it splashing all over us and the kitchen.






We whisked away until it looked like ths, runny and drinkable but still thick enough to look like icecream as you can see in the middle.
