So we'll start with the Island as that was the first trip. We stayed in my friend's holiday home out there so the holiday was super cheap and the place was absolutely gorgeous, as you can see for yourself. The place had just been renovated so the house was all lovely an fresh, a well as being in a majorly cute location right by the beach and the shops. Which is a good job because we were back at the shops for more food every day. Yeah, welcome to my food loving life. So we spent a lot of time lounging around in the sunshine and watching chick flicks, not to mention the late-night-nattering. If I could go back right now I would.

At the end we thought a BBQ would be nice. It was.

Here we were settling in, as you can see we quickly made ourselves at home.

 Right then, moving on to London? Because that too was incredible. Despite living my whole life in England, I have never before done the whole London thing. So when we realised we could get ourselves some free accommodation, we were all for it.
We got the train to Waterloo and then just went all out on the tourist front. We saw Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, the Thames, Buckingham Palace, Green Park, Platform 9 3/4, Camden Town and then some. It was actually magical, seeing all these things that had been on my television and in my books. I loved it. Next I want to visit at Christmas time because wouldn't that be the cutest?
